The PMS and building work with the same stay
The PMS holds rooms, occupancy and stay dates. Loxone handles the configured functions in the building. The connection brings the two together: the reservation supplies operational context and the Loxone installation performs locally configured actions. Arrival can therefore be coordinated with access and room preparation.
Organise access around the reservation
The existing my-bookings Loxone connection supports access automation. Rooms, doors and required permissions are mapped for your property. Message automation can provide arrival information at the appropriate stage. The controls and access methods used depend on the particular installation.
Include heating, lighting, power and ventilation
Depending on the installed Loxone equipment, heating, lighting, power and ventilation can be included alongside access. Together, we define what should happen before arrival, during the stay and after departure. The configured Loxone functions determine the scope; the PMS connection does not replace electrical or building-system planning.
Example: different routines for arrival and vacancy
For an apartment, the team defines suitable comfort settings for arrival and the operation needed between stays. Access and room functions follow the agreed rules. Actual energy consumption depends on the building, equipment, weather and settings; there is no universal saving percentage.
How we plan setup
Together with your Loxone partner, we review the Miniserver, supported functions and an appropriate connection. Units and workflows are then mapped. A sample reservation covering arrival, changes and departure verifies the agreed functions. Responsibilities for software, building equipment and incidents are defined clearly.
